The Board of Directors has established operating rules to provide for the fair, orderly telecasting of programs and to provide financial support for the operation of the channel. Individuals and entities submitting programs for telecast must comply with these rules; copies are available at the MCN/6 office.
Program Content and Regional Significance
The Board or its designee reserves the right to review programming prior to telecast to determine whether the program meets minimum technical quality standards and to rate the technical quality and regional significance of the program. The Board or its designee reserves the right not to telecast programs which violate these rules, do not meet minimum technical quality standards or lack regional significance.
Individuals and entities submitting programs for telecast on Channel 6 are liable for the program content. The review of the program by the Board or its designee does not in any way relieve the programmer from liability for slander, libel, defamation, copyright violation or any other violation of state or federal law.
